The Soviets start at the south of the city with the Germans in the northeast. There is plenty of cover for snipers with many ruined buildings. Stalingrad is either a nightmare or heaven for players. It is possible to march all the way from one base to the other on top of the ridge at the west of the map, but beware of enemy snipers. There is plenty of cover with trees and rock formations being abundant. there are two control points in the middle, with rolling plains separating these from the main bases. The Allied camp is in the north of the map with the Axis troops in the south. Kursk takes place in a valley, with Axis at one end and the allies at the other. In the centre of the hills is another base with multiple Katyusha missile launchers. Each bridge has a spawn point to be captured. There is a large hill system separating them, the entrance to the hills are two bridges crossing a river. Kharkov appears to be a mirror image for each team Axis forces have a base in the south-east and the Allies have a base in the south-west. At the main junction, are three buildings that can be entered and used as sniper positions, and a machine gun outpost. There are four streets running from north to south and three streets running from east to west. The Allies have one spawn point at the north of the map and the Axis forces have three spawn points in strategically placed plazas. In the Eastern European Theater, the Allies are represented by the Soviet Union and the Axis forces are represented by Nazi Germany.īerlin is the smallest map in the game.
